Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Engineer with strong expertise in Qualcomm Platforms (AR1/AR2), QuRT RTOS, and NFC systems. In this role, you will design, implement, and debug low-level
firmware and drivers for NFC power transfer and communication. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable firmware for wireless power products

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for Qualcomm SoCs (AR1/AR2 platforms) using QuRT RTOS.
● Implement, integrate, and optimize NFC firmware stacks, control layers, and secure interfaces.
● Integrate connectivity peripherals such as NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi‑Fi with broader system firmware.
● Develop and debug device drivers, BSP modules, and bootloaders.
● Interface with hardware using protocols such as NFC, Bluetooth, I2C, SPI, and UART.
● Perform system bring‑up, firmware validation, and performance optimization for power, latency, and throughput.
● Use low‑level debugging and trace tools (similar to JLINK) for issue analysis and tuning.
● Develop test automation and scripting for system validation and regression testing
● Collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA teams to ensure robust firmware design and implementation
● Document software designs, processes, and debug findings effectively
● Contribute to version control and issue tracking using GIT and JIRA

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
● 5–8 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development with proficiency in
Embedded C and working knowledge of Python.
● Strong experience with Qualcomm chipsets and QuRT RTOS (task schedulers, drivers, system
● Proven experience with NFC firmware integration, protocol handling, and secure communication
layers.
● Solid understanding of embedded communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
● Experience with wireless power and communication protocols, such as NFC and Bluetooth,
is highly desirable
● Ability to use integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse, VSCode, etc.
● Familiarity with firmware debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization
● Knowledge of tools like MATLAB, GIT, JIRA, and embedded test frameworks is a plus
● Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

● Experience working in consumer electronics or wireless power solutions
● Knowledge of Qualcomm HAL frameworks and secure firmware development.
● Exposure to RTOS-based development, low‑power design, bootloader programming, and performance tuning.
● Familiarity with the usage of Hardware equipment like oscilloscopes, HW debuggers (Picoscope, J-Link), E-loads, etc.
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
