We are a team of 80+ of the world’s greatest community builders and technologists.

We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities. We run three of these communities today, including our flagship The L Suite, which is a private, invite-only community for General Counsels / Chief Legal Officers and their teams at high-growth tech companies and venture funds. We also run The F Suite (for CFOs) and The E Suite (for CEOs), with more in the pipeline.

We currently have 5,000+ paid members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives and their deputies from most of today’s leading tech companies (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, Bilt, Datadog, etc.) and venture funds (e.g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, Kleiner Perkins, Insight, etc.).

About the job

We are building the next evolution of the professional network from the ground up (think LinkedIn 2.0) – built around private, trusted, peer-to-peer communities.

We fill a unique hole in the market – a platform to help people do their jobs better and grow in their careers. We do that by connecting executives to their most valuable resource – their peers – and then unlocking the power of that curated community with a comprehensive set of custom-built tools and events. In today’s world, it’s difficult to know what’s true and who to trust. Executives are retreating back to private, trusted communities for their information, support, and their most interesting conversations.

Each of our communities is unique, but they are all powered by our proprietary community platform (which our members like to call the Braintrust). Members are able to login to the Braintrust and immediately connect with their closest peers, leveraging their knowledge and experience for advice, benchmarking data, service provider recommendations, peer coaching/mentorship, and informal “therapy” sessions. The platform also houses a comprehensive content library, featuring hundreds of educational videos, forms, and other materials from our community events. A Beta version of the Braintrust is already in market with significant user engagement and revenue.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with React.js

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Experience working with Next.js

• Experience working GraphQL

• 4h daily overlap with PST timezone

Nice to have

• Experience working with a GraphQL API

• Proficient understanding of frontend frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Material UI

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
