About this role

We are looking for a Senior software engineer to provide technical leadership and help us transform the advertising industry.

You will work on a Java/SpringBoot based system running in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that handles over half a million of requests per second. You will have the opportunity to
work on R&D projects and help influence the technology and direction we take innovating our platform.

We have a wide variety of challenges. You’ll be working on a number of interconnected projects and components all related to our OpenRTB architecture. Those challenges include: high throughput data processing, performance tuning, and automating how various systems interact together.

You will build real products that are ultimately used by millions of people. You keep the business needs top of mind. You understand the tradeoffs of cost, time, and efficiency when designing high-scale systems. You want to mentor junior engineers and help others grow their careers. You love the fact that code is continuously tested and released for fast feedback. You are great at communicating and making sure decisions are made that satisfy multiple stakeholders.

Your experience & expertise

● Solid CS fundamentals.
● 5+ years experience in software development using Java.
● Experience working with SpringBoot Framework.
● Experience working with high performance databases (e.g. Aerospike), and traditional relational databases.

● Experience working with distributed systems, data structures, concurrency.
● Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.

Nice to have 

● Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. GCP, Terraform, AWS)
● Experience with large scale data processing (e.g. Stream processing)
● Experience running real time inference machine learning workloads
● Experience with the advertising industry and familiarity with OpenRTB
