What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. This is a full-stack role with a backend focus, ideal for someone with a strong background in SaaS, Python, and AWS. You will be a critical engineer supporting our AI solutions for digital pathology by focusing on the customer-facing front end and the REST APIs that support it. You will be responsible for building scalable, highly available services and setting the benchmark for software engineering best practices for the team to follow.

What will you be doing?

• Design and implement REST APIs and web-based applications for customer requests, focusing on scalability and high availability (99.98%).

• Develop and manage backend infrastructure, including database design and handling metadata for requests

• Work on initial image processing of input requests, optimizing the transfer of large binary data before passing it to the inference team.

• Set up dashboards and performance tracking to measure and meet SLAs, and conduct root cause analysis to fix issues in the stack.

• Work closely with front-end, back-end, and ML/inference teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end stack.
