Welcome to GigDrift. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GigDrift website at gigdrift.io (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About GigDrift
GigDrift is a job aggregator and educational resource for remote work opportunities. We collect, organize, and display job listings sourced from third-party platforms and provide original editorial content including guides, reviews, and articles about remote work.
GigDrift is not an employer, recruitment agency, staffing firm, or job placement service. We do not hire, interview, screen, or employ anyone. We do not make or influence hiring decisions. We are a distributor, not a publisher, of third-party job content. Our role is limited to aggregating publicly available or partner-sourced job listings and presenting them in a user-friendly format.
2. Referral Links and Monetization
GigDrift is a free service. We earn revenue through referral and affiliate links embedded in job listings and editorial content. When you click on certain links and take action on a third-party platform (such as signing up or applying for a job), GigDrift may receive a commission from that platform.
This does not affect your experience, the cost of any service, or your eligibility for any position. Referral relationships do not influence the editorial opinions expressed in our reviews and guides.

3. No Guarantees on Job Listings
All job listings displayed on GigDrift are sourced from third-party platforms. We do not independently verify, endorse, or guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any job listing
- The availability of any position at the time you view or apply
- The compensation, benefits, or working conditions described
- The legitimacy or reputation of any employer or hiring platform
- That you will receive a response, interview, or job offer
- That the information in a listing has not changed since it was published
Job listings may be modified, removed, or filled by the originating platform at any time without notice to GigDrift. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings current, but delays and inaccuracies may occur.
4. Your Use of the Service
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes related to your job search and professional development. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from GigDrift without prior written permission
- Reproduce, redistribute, or republish GigDrift content (including job listings, articles, reviews, and guides) on any other website, platform, or service
- Use the Service or its content to build, support, or operate a competing job aggregator, job board, or similar service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service
GigDrift reserves the right to block access to any user or IP address that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on GigDrift — including but not limited to articles, guides, platform reviews, the GigDrift Score methodology, design elements, logos, and branding — is the property of GigDrift and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Job listings are sourced from third-party platforms and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. GigDrift claims no ownership over third-party job content.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from GigDrift’s original content without prior written consent.
6. Third-Party Platforms
GigDrift contains links to third-party websites and platforms. When you click on a job listing or referral link and leave GigDrift, you are subject to the terms of service, privacy policy, and practices of that third-party platform.
GigDrift has no control over and assumes no responsibility for:
- The content, policies, or practices of any third-party platform
- The accuracy of information provided by third-party platforms
- Any transaction, interaction, or dispute between you and a third-party platform or employer
- The availability, security, or performance of any third-party service
- Changes to third-party terms, commission structures, or hiring processes
Your use of third-party platforms is entirely at your own risk. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any platform you visit through GigDrift.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GigDrift and its owner, operators, affiliates, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any job listing, employer, or third-party platform accessed through the Service
- Any hiring decision, rejection, scam, fraud, or misrepresentation by any employer or platform
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated job listings or editorial content
- Loss of income, data, opportunities, or any other intangible loss
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
GigDrift is provided as a free service on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall GigDrift’s total aggregate liability to you exceed zero euros (EUR 0.00), reflecting the fact that the Service is provided at no cost to you.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
GigDrift makes no warranties or representations about:
- The reliability, accuracy, or completeness of any content on the Service
- The results you may obtain from using the Service
- The Service being uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any errors or defects in the Service being corrected
Any reliance you place on information obtained through the Service is at your sole risk.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GigDrift and its owner, operators, affiliates, and contributors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your interaction with any third-party platform or employer accessed through the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Any dispute between you and any third party related to your use of the Service
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Modifications to the Service and Terms
GigDrift reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and GigDrift regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
