About this role

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer working with the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you analyze, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack. The Senior Data Analytics Engineer works directly with clients to ensure their expectations and business decision-making tool needs are met. The Engineer is an expert in using analytical and problem-solving skills and has experience creating scalable and reliable data solutions through data analytics solution development.

Responsibilities

• Designs, proposes, builds, and maintains databases and datalakes, data pipelines that transform and model data, and reporting and analytics solutions

• Understands business problems and processes based on direct conversations with customers, can see the big picture, and translate that into specific solutions

• Identifies issues early, proposes solutions, and tactfully raises concerns and proposes solutions

• Participates in code peer reviews

• Articulates clearly pros/cons of various tools/approaches

• Documents and diagrams proposed solutions
