About the job

As a Senior Architect at GlitchD Labs, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall architectural strategy for our products. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our platforms. Your role will involve making high-level design decisions, mentoring engineers, and leading by example to drive technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall architectural strategy for GlitchD Labs’ products.

• Make high-level design decisions and ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to guide the development of scalable, secure, and efficient systems.

• Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers and development teams.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Ensure that architectural designs meet compliance, security, and performance standards.

• Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept projects to validate architectural approaches.

• Communicate architectural visions and strategies to stakeholders and team members.

• Drive continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development, ideally including leadership experience.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems.

• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, microservices, high performance computing, and distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus algorithms, cryptography, and smart contracts.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data architecture and data management best practices.

• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
