Legal content reviewer (special needs law)

Mercor is seeking senior attorneys or legal academics to review structured legal content related to special needs planning and disability benefits. Your expertise will ensure legal accuracy and clarity across datasets used for advanced AI evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review legal documents and confirm alignment with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.

• Validate content related to ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts.

• Ensure correctness and clarity on Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes.

• Provide expert feedback to improve dataset quality.

• Collaborate asynchronously and meet all deadlines.

You’re a strong fit if you have:

• 10+ years of experience in special needs law or related academic fields.

• Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law.

• Advanced understanding of Medicaid and SSI regulatory standards.

• Excellent analytical and legal writing skills.

• Strong detail orientation.

Role Details:

• Type: Part-time, project-based (4–6 weeks)

• Engagement: ~5 hours per week

Compensation

• Pay: $110 – $140/hour
