Healthcare Administration Expert

What you’ll do

Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in healthcare administration. As a Healthcare Admin Expert, you’ll build long-horizon front-office tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls.

Expect to build scenarios across:

• Patient access: scheduling against rule-based provider availability, eligibility verification with a known benefits response, intake with required fields
• Coordination: referral routing against defined networks, records-request fulfillment with required HIPAA elements
• Patient communication: structured pre-visit and post-visit templates with required disclosures

These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus.

Who we’re looking for

• 2+ years in patient access, front office, or healthcare admin
• Expertise in one or more of the following: an EHR (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks), insurance verification, scheduling, referral coordination
• Comfortable reading and producing admin artifacts: scheduling workflows, intake forms, records request letters, patient communications
• Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics

Compensation

$40–$60/hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
