FreeCAD Expert (BIM and IFC Focus)

micro1 is looking for a FreeCAD specialist with deep BIM and IFC expertise. This is a remote contract where your parametric modeling work directly trains next-generation AI to understand engineering and design logic. $19–$65/hr depending on experience. If you live in FreeCAD and know IFC workflows inside out, this is a rare chance to get paid for that niche expertise while shaping how AI learns CAD.

What you’ll do

• Lead full parametric modeling projects in FreeCAD with BIM-focused workflows
• Import, export, and validate IFC data across project stages
• Prepare production-quality technical drawings and model exports
• Document your design process and reasoning to train AI systems

What they’re looking for

• Expert-level FreeCAD proficiency — parametric sketches, assemblies, and constraints
• Strong working knowledge of BIM standards and IFC data workflows
• Experience preparing technical drawings and validated model exports
