DevOps Engineer

micro1 is hiring for its core team — not a contract gig, a full-time role with equity. They build the AI talent platform used by frontier labs and Fortune 10 companies. You’ll own the infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, cloud architecture across AWS and GCP. $140K–$180K/yr plus equity and benefits, fully remote. This is a senior hire — 5+ years required.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
• Architect and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Operate and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer velocity and system reliability

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar)
• Nice to have: experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) and observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana)
