Compliance & Regulatory Expert

What you’ll do

Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in compliance. As a Compliance & Regulatory Expert, you’ll build long-horizon compliance tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls.

Expect to build scenarios across:

• Policy and program design: policies covering a required element list, training materials against a defined curriculum
• Regulatory tracking: rule change analyses with a ground-truth applicability decision
• Assessments: risk assessments with defined scoring, DPIAs with required sections and correct control mappings

These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus.

Who we’re looking for

• 3+ years in compliance, privacy, or regulatory affairs
• Expertise in one or more of the following: GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, SOX, AML/KYC, the EU AI Act
• Comfortable reading and producing compliance artifacts: policies, risk assessments, training materials, regulatory change memos
• Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics
• CIPP, CAMS, JD, or equivalent preferred

Compensation

$90–$125/hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
