Technical Expert – Software Engineering

Mercor is seeking software engineering experts to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems on coding and technical reasoning tasks. In this contract role, you will review AI-generated code, create high-quality programming prompts, assess model correctness, and provide expert feedback across areas such as algorithms, data structures, systems design, debugging, software architecture, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack development.

Ideal candidates have strong software engineering experience, clear written communication skills, and the ability to evaluate code for correctness, efficiency, readability, security, and maintainability.

Compensation

• Pay: $90 – $120/hour
