Marketing Expert
What you’ll do
Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in marketing. As a Marketing Expert, you’ll build long-horizon marketing tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls.
Expect to build scenarios across:
- Campaign execution: SEO content briefs meeting defined structural specs, email sequences with explicit trigger and merge-field rules, UTM-tagged campaigns against a naming convention
- Product marketing: battlecards with required competitive fields, case studies fact-checked against source interviews, positioning docs populated against a structured framework like JTBD
- Content operations: keyword research with verifiable volumes, editorial calendars enforcing publishing rules, fact-checkable product claims
These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus.
Who we’re looking for
- 3+ years in content, product, demand-gen, or brand marketing
- Expertise in one or more of the following: SEO and content marketing, email and lifecycle marketing (HubSpot, Marketo, Iterable, Customer.io), product marketing (positioning, battlecards, launches), demand generation, brand and social marketing
- Comfortable reading and producing marketing artifacts: campaign briefs, landing pages, nurture flows, positioning docs, case studies
- Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics
- Located in the United States or Canada
Compensation
$55–$80/hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
