B2B Sales Expert
What you’ll do
Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in B2B sales. As a B2B Sales Expert, you’ll build long-horizon selling tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls.
Expect to build scenarios across:
- Top-of-funnel: ICP lists filtered against defined criteria, account research briefs with required fields populated from source data
- Deal execution: proposals and SOWs with required sections and correct pricing tied to spec, redlines that resolve to pre-defined fallback positions
- Forecasting: MEDDIC/MEDDPICC fills against a seeded deal pack, forecast categorization against defined rules
These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus.
Who we’re looking for
- 3+ years in B2B sales, SDR/BDR leadership, or customer success (mid-market or enterprise)
- Expertise in one or more of the following: a sales framework (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message), CRM operations (Salesforce, HubSpot), outbound motion (Outreach, Salesloft), renewals and QBRs
- Comfortable reading and producing sales artifacts: call plans, proposals, SOW redlines, QBR decks, forecast narratives
- Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics
Compensation
$55–$80/hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
