Healthcare Compliance & Care Coordination Expert

What you’ll do

Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in healthcare compliance and care coordination. As a Compliance & Care Coordination Expert, you’ll build long-horizon tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls.

Expect to build scenarios across:

• Regulatory compliance: HIPAA documentation with required elements, CMS quality reporting with known measure outcomes
• Care coordination: care plans with required sections tied to clinical guidelines, handoff documents with required transfer-of-information elements
• Value-based care: HEDIS/STAR gap closure against rule-defined measure specs, HCC coding with ground-truth condition capture

These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus.

Who we’re looking for

• 3+ years in care coordination, case management, or healthcare compliance
• RN, LCSW, CCM, or equivalent preferred
• Expertise in one or more of the following: HEDIS and STAR measures, HCC coding, care plan documentation, value-based care contracts, HIPAA program operations
• Comfortable reading and producing care coordination artifacts: care plans, case notes, quality gap reports, compliance memos
• Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics

Compensation

$70–$95/hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
