Hebrew Bilingual Generalist

Mercor is seeking native Hebrew speakers for a short-term project with a leading AI lab. You must speak the Israeli style of Hebrew for this project.

Role Responsibilities

• Record audio snippets of Hebrew sentences

• Evaluate the naturalness and grammar of written Hebrew statements

• Assess correctness of spoken Hebrew recordings

Payment

Please note: The stated hourly range is an estimate for this project. Actual payment will be based on a per-audio-task-completed basis

• Each audio task will approximately take 1-2min

• Strong performers will have an opportunity to be promoted to reviewer and receive a higher hourly rate

Ideal Candidates Should Have:

• Native-Level Proficiency: Native fluency in Hebrew (i.e., born and raised in Israel)

• Cultural Expertise: Deep understanding of Israeli cultural norms, traditions, and communication etiquette

• Audio Requirements: Ability to listen to and record high-quality audio content (quiet environment, clear pronunciation, lossless audio format, etc.)

• Nice to Have:

• Bilingual Communication Skills: High proficiency in English to explain Hebrew concepts clearly and effectively

• Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using virtual platforms and digital tools

• Assessment Knowledge: Familiarity with language testing methodologies and evaluation frameworks

More Details About This Role:

• The is a pilot project and expected to last one week. There is strong opportunity for top performers to receive future audio work on longer-term engagements

• This project is expected to start Monday, February 23, 2026

• You’ll be working in a structured project environment with clear goals and tools

Application and Onboarding Process:

• Complete an AI-led interview to assess language ability and cultural proficiency. This should take around 10 minutes

• Record a short audio snippet of you speaking some Hebrew sentences

• If selected, you’ll be contacted for a follow-up conversation and onboarded shortly thereafter

Compensation

• Pay: $30 – $35/hour
• Type: Hourly contract
• Location: Remote
